Wolf Mama
The Wolf Mama is the father's partner in Family Time and the rule-keeper of the whole household. She keeps adding wolf children to the family every night and checks that each one is sheltered, fed and tucked into a bed of their own; if the father fails to provide, she kills him and the run ends.
Wolf Mama at a Glance
A tall wolf woman with black hair and a pale face, she appears in official art holding two of her children. She does not chop trees or farm; her role is growing the family and judging how well it is looked after.
What She Expects Each Night
Her demands mirror the game's three pillars. Every child needs shelter, every child needs food, and every child should sleep snug in their own cot. Beds are singled out on purpose: keeping the pups in their own beds is the stated way to avoid angering her.
Because she adds children on a steady cadence, a household that was fine last night can fall short tonight without any mistake from you. That is why the community treats her as the antagonist even though she is formally your partner.
Anger and the Three-Strike Rule
Players describe her limit as three strikes. Each night the family is not provided for angers her, and the third time ends the run. Mistakes add up rather than reset, so a strong night does not cancel an earlier failure.
The safest plan is prevention. Build cots slightly ahead of the headcount and keep a second food source running. The beginner guide lays out the morning check that keeps both lines covered.
Her Behaviour Across the Builds
The Wolf Mama received a large expansion in the Episode 2 build, with new animations and sounds, commands, awareness, anger, protection and cheering behaviours. She reacts to what happens around the family instead of standing idle.
She needs a bed of her own, which costs one log, and she must be unlocked along with the children for meals to work properly. Players also ask about renaming or customising her, but pup naming is the only naming feature announced so far.
Place the Wolf Mama's bed in the first house you build. It costs a single log and removes one easy reason for her anger.
For the children she brings into the world, see the wolf pups page, and for putting them to work, the commanding pups guide.
